2. If I do dress up for Halloween, it's usually last minute and recycled lol. I think I will probably be Arthur (from the kids show) this year as I have most of the pieces, which are mainly my own clothes
3. I've created a playlist called 'Cozy' on Spotify consisting of a lot of music from Birdy and similar styles to her. I like Sufjan too! I didn't know he had a new album, I will have to take a listen.
I've been so excited to wear cozy knits again! I splurged on a knit cardigan from Alex Mill and love it so much.
Arthur - how fun! I love that. Birdy is another great 'fall sounds' artist, I'll have to add her back into rotation. I've never got anything from Alex Mill before, glad to hear you're loving yours. Thanks for sharing Naomi! xx
And if you’re looking to add more colour to your winter wardrobe, I really recommend Colorful Standard for gorgeous merino basics in epic solid colour options. I have a thick yet non-scratchy merino hat that I’m obsessed with that’s made in Portugal and bright pink.
We’re here in Vietnam for a few months while very slowly travelling the region and working remotely. It’s wonderful and I could wax effusively about Vietnam for ever! The people are beautiful.
Here is my witchy season playlist if you’re interested xx
That’s awesome, what a cool experience! Thanks for the playlist link, I love the Susperia soundtrack and noticed that right away. Looks like a great mix!
I have a hard time finding McIntosh apples. I eat Galas and Pink Ladies, sometimes a HoneyCrisp. I try to dress up for Halloween for my Grandson - it snowed here today so Halloween won’t be quite as fun.
Finding a good McIntosh is much harder than it sounds! Awww that's fun to dress up for the little ones - but snow for Halloween, oh my! Hopefully just a magical little dusting and not a whole dump of it.
Ambrosia, no and Bruddha Iz.
That book looks really good! I might have to read it!
1. I've been enjoying ambrosia apples this fall!

Loved this issue, Lauren! And especially loved the ‘fit!
My favourite kind of apple is a Pink Lady -- so tangy and satisfying!
I won’t be dressing up for Halloween but I will definitely be walking around Hanoi seeing how the local community celebrates
I’m listening to Red Wine Supernova by Chappell Roan because it’s an epic bop, my witchy season playlist, and -- you know it -- 1989 TV 💙
Happy thanksgiving xx

Thank you Aoife! How cool, do you live in Vietnam, or visiting?
Ohhh I love a good witchy season playlist, and you bet I am currently listening to 1989 TV!! SO. GOOD.
Thanks for the Colorful Standard recommendation - they look like such good basics and I love the color options! Happy Thanksgiving, xx
