Looks like you've had a lovely cozy November! Love that you're in a writing group. You might have seen it - Leslie from Morning Person started one as well. I wanted to join but don't have the time at the moment. I like writing too and intermittently write for a publication called Clerestory Magazine.
Naomi, you are always full of gems and surprises! I googled your essays in Clerestory Mag and teared up while reading ‘A Time for Everything’. Guess I should have waited till I got home, rather than sitting in my dentist office waiting for a cleaning lol. Thanks for sharing this with me, your writing is beautiful.
I saw Leslie’s writing group, that’s actually how the five of us met. We all found it a little too large (with over 100 participants) and were looking for something more personal.
That peanut miso noodle bowl looks SO good, I will most definitely be trying that next week.
Wishing you all the magic of December. Vancouver can be really beautiful during the holidays, I hope you’re able to find time for personal joys. Sending you a big hug! xx
Thank you Lauren, it means a lot that you read it! I actually don't tend to share my work as I find it so vulnerable to. So I really admire how vulnerable you are in your writing. Enjoy the holiday season too :)
YAY for crackling fires, fall walks, long conversations and yummy snacks :) Thanks for coming!

I've been enjoying noodle bowls lately too! I love this because it is packable for me to bring to work: https://plantbasedrdblog.com/2023/01/homemade-peanut-miso-instant-noodles/
And I just tried these this week (also great for work lunch) and they are soooo good! https://www.pickuplimes.com/recipe/creamy-kimchi-udon-noodles-to-go-1527
So impressed you've finished your holiday shopping already. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season :)
