π₯Ήπ₯Ή Thank you for sharing your motherβs words with us. She sounds absolutely incredibleβand quite the storyteller. Just like her daughter π
Lauren, this is such a moving piece to read. Both your momβs vivid writing and your act of publishing it here. Life is long but life can be so short, this is a fundamental and galvanising truth. Iβm so grateful to read this today. Thinking of you in all of this and looking forward to sharing this with loved ones xx
Lauren! The beginning, middle, and end of this (so...all of it) put tears in my eyes. Thank you for sharing a piece of your mom with us. I'm so sorry she is no longer here, but this story makes it feel like she still is in many ways. β€οΈ
Gosh Lauren, I didnβt think I could love your mom and dad more than I do. Even though I didnβt know your mom the same way you did, she was so loved by our family (my dad especially!!). She is missed but never forgotten. And your dadβ¦.. well he is a big fave of mine. Xoxoxo
Back at ya Shawn, I am an admirer of all that you do. Leisa and you would have been great friends as you both are gentle, caring, giving and loving souls. Xo
Very few days go by that I don't have a thought about some place or some moment that happened on that trip. We did become like family and that is why I jumped off the truck to go help Lana, it was just a natural instinct. I am blessed to have done this with a very special "Angel". Thanks AMG
Oh wow Lauren I LOVED that! That last line just made me cry, because it is SO true! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful part of your family history with us. The world needs more beauty like this.
