Heading into the 6 month mark of my marriage and I gracefully found this in my substack feed, what a wonderful reflection! i found myself wanting to restack every section!
Happy anniversary, you two π I think this column is a no brainer! Youβve been my sounding board plenty of times and you are both damn good at it. Your factual communicator point was really relatable. I remember thinking I was a great communicator when it came to my feelings. Turns out I could express them with ease to my friends who I knew were there for good but had trouble within my romantic relationships because of my fear of abandonment. All we need in life are teammates that want to learn, grow and do the hard thing with us.
Thank you so much Camila! It really means a lot. You're so right, a good teammate in life is such a gift. I am absolutely in need of a good update from you btw, I'll message you.
Happy anniversary! I love hearing about other peopleβs relationships and I feel like itβs such a special part of community to encourage and support each other to keep growing, addressing shit, and expanding in all ways. Hoping you have a really special celebration and hereβs to both year two of marriage as well as all the years ahead xx ps my husband and I definitely have team meetings, too. Something he says to me when Iβm being a total brat is, βHey, same team!β, and itβs a reminder that weβre building this thing together.
Thank you Aoife! Haha I love that, such a good reminder. I was surprised how long it took me to realize I was actually part of a team, I was so used to being on a solo mission. I agree with you on hearing about other people's relationships, it's not something we hear enough about. And a lot of the relationship talk out there is drama - not the good learning parts. Thanks so much for your comments, they mean a lot. Happy to connect with you. xx

Thank you Kaitlyn! Oh my, podcast land. Feels like I'm just creating more work for myself, but I can't resist the urge lol.
